CT/Rad Technologist

Magdou Health seeks qualified imaging professionals or imaging service businesses to provide CT and radiographic services at freestanding emergency facilities and hospitals.

Contractors may identify the areas and coverage windows they are available to accept. Specific assignments and terms are set out in the independent contractor agreement.

Client coverage needs include weekday and/or weekend windows, holidays, and on-call assignments.

Provide your available windows and preferred service areas. Any coverage commitment applies to assignments accepted under the agreement.

Services Under Accepted Assignments

As part of accepted assignments, contractors will:

• CT & Radiographic Imaging: Perform CT and radiographic imaging examinations within the contractor’s credentials and each client facility’s protocols, orders, and requirements.
• Patient Preparation & Documentation: Obtain relevant patient history, prepare patients, acquire diagnostic-quality images and reconstructions, and document examinations as required by the facility and independent contractor agreement.
• Lab & Ancillary Services: Complete lab work and ancillary services when included in the accepted assignment, authorized by the contractor’s qualifications, and consistent with the client facility’s requirements and independent contractor agreement.
• Credentialing & Compliance: Maintain required credentialing, registration, BLS, and safety compliance for each assignment and provide reliable service across agreed client locations.

Qualifications

Required Credentials & Experience

• Certifications: Current ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board registration or license applicable to the services performed; current BLS certification.
• Professional Experience: At least one year of radiography experience. At least one year of CT experience is preferred; CT services may be accepted only when the contractor meets applicable credentials and facility requirements.
• Independent Service Delivery: Ability to independently provide accepted services and coordinate with client clinicians on patient care and exam requirements.
