Magdou Health seeks qualified ultrasound professionals to provide diagnostic ultrasound services at freestanding emergency facilities and hospitals throughout the Dallas Metroplex.
Contractors may indicate the coverage windows and areas they are available to accept. Specific on-call assignments and compensation are agreed under the independent contractor agreement.
Compensation & Opportunity Highlights
- $100 per Exam – Contract compensation for each completed exam.
- $5 per Hour – Additional standby pay.
- Flexible Availability – High availability or standard availability.
- On-Call Opportunities – Primarily weekdays and weeknights, with occasional weekends and approximately one to two holidays per year.
- Dallas Metroplex Coverage – Provide services across agreed client locations.
The exam rate is confirmed in the independent contractor agreement.
Availability & Assignment Windows
Flexible On-Call & Contract Opportunities
Current coverage needs are primarily weekdays and weeknights, with occasional weekends and approximately one to two holidays per year.
Contractors can indicate their preferred coverage areas and available windows.
Important: Accepted on-call assignments require a response and arrival within one hour of a request for an exam.
Services Under Accepted Assignments
- Diagnostic Ultrasound: Perform general diagnostic and vascular ultrasound exams.
- Exam Documentation: Complete exam documentation, measurements, and image submission required by the client facility.
- Clinical Coordination: Coordinate with facility clinicians on exam requests, patient safety, and timely service; report equipment or safety concerns through the facility’s process.
- Credentialing & Compliance: Maintain applicable credentials, competency, and safety compliance for each accepted assignment and deliver reliable services across agreed client locations.
Qualifications
Required Credentials & Experience
- Ultrasound Certification: Diagnostic ultrasound certification and/or registration.
- BLS Certification: Current BLS certification.
- Clinical Experience: Experience with diagnostic ultrasound in an emergency or comparable clinical setting and ability to independently provide accepted services.
- On-Call Response: Ability to meet the agreed one-hour callback requirement for any on-call window accepted.
